The hotel is 2.5 km away from Skala on the famous Mounda beach where the Caretta - Caretta turtles come to lay their eggs. It is a quiet and relaxing place with a view over a wonderful and endless sandy beach. This hotel is approximately 2.5 km away from Skala town centre and around 40 km from Cephalonia International Airport.

Built in 2011, Marina Bay is consisted of 38 units each of them having a private balcony or veranda facing the sea with the island of Zante always in the background. It is a modern complex that provides an inside bar-restaurant, plus a TV room and free parking facilities. Guests of this air-conditioned hotel are welcomed in the lobby with a hotel safe. Food and drink are served at the bar-restaurant, that is located just next to the pool.
