Set on the slopes of the mountain, this festival welcomes guests to experience life in a rural area with a beautiful climate and exceptional natural beauty while attending a series of spectacular musical concerts. The Varvara Festival takes place in Varvara in Halkidiki and it’s an effort of time of the Cultural Association Varvara which with passion cares about the connection of the area with todays habits since Varvara is a small region which is located in a mountain area of Halkidiki.
Well known artists all these years support this cultural movement of the locals. Among them famous names of the Greek music scene such as Sokratis Malamas, Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Christos Thivaios, Glikeria, Melina Aslanidou, Melina Kana, Nikos Portokaloglou, Mario and others. The Varvara Festival is an opportunity for visitors to attend music concerts and enjoy the magnificent climate which the region of Varvara of offers during the summer months, the natural beauty of this area of Halkidiki and taste the local cuisine as well.
