A week of celebrations paying tribute to local products and especially sardines. Visitors can taste some of the finest local sardines on the grill along with regional white wine. Organized by the municipality of Moudania and the Cultural Association Faros the Feast of Sardines takes place in Moudania in Halkidiki the second week of July and last for one week. The Sunday when the feast celebrates its end with the feast of sardines’ visitors can taste grilled sardine and white wine from the traditional Greek cuisine. The celebration ends early next morning.
