Zografou beach is famous for its turquoise, shallow waters and for its clear sandy beach. The beach is surrounded by tall verdant hills and gives a sense of isolation from the rest of the world. However, in order to get to the beach, you have to cross the road through the campsite. This is a beautiful beach of thin white sand surrounded by unique rock formations, bushes and trees. Beyond Zografou, there are more secluded and beautiful beaches and charming fishing hamlets.
Nearby is Porto Zografou, a beautiful summer camping resort set in one of the most romantic areas surrounded by olive, pine, plane, and ornamental trees. The nearby Mount Itamos offers some splendid walking trails and a trek up the hill offers some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Vourvourou bay.
