The popular village of Neos Marmaras, has a range of beautiful and organized sandy beaches, Blue flag awarded. It is located on the south side of the city; it is long and sandy with gradual depth which makes it ideal for children. Large part of the beach has natural shade. Banieres beach is just a couple of kilometers from the beach resort of Neos Marmaras, which has a well developed tourist infrastructure with its numerous restaurants, beach bars, fish taverns, mini markets, banks and health cente. There is also Paradisos beach, which has been awarded the European Blue Flag and has a well-developed tourist infrastructure, with apartments and studios to suit a variety of budgets, just a few 100 m from its sandy shore. This is a true paradise with long stretches of golden sand, blue waters and low mounds draped in lush vegetation giving the place an exotic touch.
