Proti Ammoudia is the first beach to reach from Olympiada towards Ierissos. It's wide, with light sand and turquoise sea. Sand is on the coast and in the water; the depth is gradual, without a particularly long shallow, but quite enough for small children. There's a very popular and beautifully decorated Cuba beach bar that's occupying the widest part of the beach, with sun beds and umbrellas provided with a drink, although, on both sides of the bar and sun beds there's enough space for visitors with their own equipment. There's also a natural shade along the beach but visitors are mostly using it for parking.
