Description

This hotel is situated in the quiet seaside resort of Amoudara, Heraklion, Crete, set back from the main road and just 350 m from the 6 km long sandy beach. The centre of Heraklion is just 5 km away.  The family run hotel offers traditional friendly Cretan hospitality. It has 25 rooms spread over 3 floors, including 6 studios, as well as single, twin and double rooms. Facilities include a reception area with a safe, limited dining facilities and car parking.  All rooms are traditionally furnished and come with a TV, fridge, air-conditioning, Wifi,  balcony, en suite bathroom and hairdryer. Most have either a view of the pool and/or the sea. For a small children's cots can be provided.  The hotel has a swimming pool with pool bar, snack bar, sun loungers (no extra charge), and parasols.
Amoudara is a quiet resort, yet has many shops, bars & restaurants to suit all tastes. There are several pharmacies and medical centers and the local bus service to Heraklion and to airport runs every 30 mins from 6am in the morning until late into the evening.
